Lisa Hopkins is a Project Manager in the Information Security Program (ISP) of the Department of Revenue. Lisa manages technology related projects for various DOR programs and is currently managing projects to upgrade the SUNTAX system for the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program and to investigate options and plan the next generation of the DOR Contact Center.

Prior to joining DOR, Lisa Hopkins was a Project Manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office of the Florida Agency for State Technology (AST). In this role, Lisa was instrumental in the creation of rules, guidelines and templates for Florida agencies to use in IT project management. Lisa was central in promoting the Florida project management standards and training agency project managers and other staff in PM requirements. In addition, Lisa was responsible for AST oversight on specific, large scale IT projects.

Lisa worked at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for 29 years. Working in criminal justice information systems, criminal investigation, criminal justice officer standards and training and information technology, Lisa has a background in strategic planning, legislative analysis, policy and procedure administration, business writing, presentation and reporting.

Lisa received her PMP certification in 2007 and began work as a project manager for various FDLE IT projects. Lisa was involved in implementation of the first Project Management Office in FDLE.

A longtime member of the PMI Tallahassee Chapter (and a glutton for punishment), Lisa has also worked with both the Chapter Professional Development Committee and the Communications committee.
