Lisa Hopkins is a Project Manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office of the Florida Agency for State Technology (AST). In this role, Lisa has been instrumental in the creation of rules, guidelines and templates for Florida agencies to use in IT project management. In addition, Lisa is responsible for AST oversight on specific, large scale IT projects.

Prior to joining AST, Lisa worked at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for 29 years. Working in criminal justice information systems, criminal investigation, criminal justice officer standards and training and information technology, Lisa has a background in strategic planning, legislative analysis, policy and procedure administration, business writing, presentation and reporting.
Lisa received her PMP certification in 2007 and began work as a project manager for various FDLE IT projects. Lisa was involved in implementation of the first Project Management Office in FDLE, and developed much of the processes and templates in use today. A longtime member of the PMI Tallahassee Chapter (and a glutton for punishment), Lisa is a member of both the Chapter Professional Development Committee and the Communications committee. Her work for the chapter has included the redesign and publication of the PMITLH Newsletter and a lead role in the development and maintenance of the PMITLH PMP Exam Prep Bootcamp workbook and materials.
