Rebecca Green joined State of Florida government in 2008, working in Information Technology for state agencies as both a project and contract manager and handling numerous high-profile state enterprise endeavors. In 2014, Rebecca accepted a promotion within the Florida Agency for State Technology to the Enterprise Project Management Office as a project and contract manager and project oversight manager and assisted with the development of Florida’s Project Management (PM) administrative rule, guidelines, and other state PM standards. In 2015, Rebecca joined the Florida Department of Corrections, serving as a Bureau Chief and establishing a new Project Management Office, processes, standards, and governance within the agency to ensure compliance with State PM rule. In 2017, Rebecca left state government for the private sector and has worked for globally-recognized companies including SAS and NTT Data Services providing project management for enterprise information technology implementations at state agencies in Florida, Vermont, and Nebraska.
Rebecca is a Certified Professional Public Buyer, Certified Public Manager, and a Florida Certified Contract Manager; she received her PMP certification in 2014 and has been a member of both the local Tallahassee PMI and global PMI chapters since. Rebecca is a graduate of Florida State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.
