Shajil Kalathil is an accomplished technology executive and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). For nearly a decade, he has provided project management consulting for the Big Four consulting firms. Shajil builds strong technical teams through training in communication and value management fundamentals. In recruiting and enabling top talent, he has implemented multiple successful large-scale State Government systems nationwide.
Currently, Shajil provides technology project management leadership for the State of Florida. An engineer by trade, he holds two Masters degrees, one Computer Science (MS) and the other in Business Administration (MBA). Shajil has been a resident of Tallahassee since 2002. He is passionate about community service, championing multiple community upliftment programs.
Shajil has served the PMI Tallahassee chapter in multiple roles and has experienced first-hand the great things volunteers can do. As President of the Board of directors, he will re-invigorate the chapter’s volunteer services by showing how volunteering benefits the community, the chapter, and the volunteers themselves. In doing so, he will work with the board to leverage relationships with members and other interested professionals in the private and public sectors. These connections will help the chapter attract talented volunteers who can contribute unique talents, ideas, and perspectives.
