Cheryl Walters, MBA, PMP®, CPM, ITIL, brings a wide array of knowledge to the Tallahassee PMI Chapter with more than twenty five years of Project Management experience. Her work experience spans 24 years with the State of Florida and 30 years with the U.S. Air Force. Cheryl promoted through the ranks from an active duty enlisted member to a commissioned officer in the Air National Guard, where she was involved in projects at varying levels of responsibility from inception to implementation, operational maintenance and process improvement; she retired as a Major in 2013, and is now working as a consultant. Cheryl has an MBA and a Bachelor Degree in Multinational Business from Florida State University. A four term member of the PMITLH Board of Directors, she is also a founding member of the chartered PMITLH Toastmaster Club, where she was also on the Board of Directors. Cheryl also participates in several other professional and military organizations. She is the Volunteer Coordinator for Honor Flight Tallahassee and volunteers with the Pet Therapy program at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with her best pal, Moose.
