Hello fellow Project Managers!

Welcome to 2019.  I'm looking forward to an exciting new year.  As we enter 2019, we should take stock of our lives and make commitments to improve ourselves. Have you considered what you will do in 2019 to improve the health of your professional life? I would encourage you to expand your network of professional contacts by attending our Chapter meetings. Not only can this lead to professional advancements, but it allows you to tap into the vast storehouse of experience and knowledge our members possess. Our members are awesome.

Also, plan to take advantage of our professional development education events this year. The Chapter strives to make these events cost effective and relevant. We will be focusing on ensuring that the events cover all three sides of the Talent Triangle as well as the changes in the PMBOK. If you do not yet have your PMP certification, that would be a great goal for this year. The Chapter will be using new materials to conduct the PMP Exam Boot Camp that align with the new version of the exam. We are excited as other chapters have reported amazing results using these materials.

Finally, consider getting involved in the volunteer opportunities, any Board member would be glad to assist you in finding a volunteer role that fits your skills and talents.

Thank you again for this opportunity to serve you as the President of the Tallahassee PMI Chapter.
