PMITLH Board Talk:
Are You Ready?
It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a chance to mingle. Although our virtual meetings helped fill the void, there is something to be said about being face-to-face (or mask-to-mask). PMITLH is planning on returning to in-person Chapter Dinner meetings with the August Meeting!
I don’t know about you, but I kind of got used to sleeping in, signing on, and rocking out. It’s been a bit of a learning curve to remember how to get up, get dressed, and drive in! My wardrobe had been hoodies and jeans for so long, I couldn’t find any of my “good” clothes (I still can’t find some of my jewelry – I quit wearing it because it interfered with the masks). You have to plan your day - remember your badge, phone, laptop, lunch (can’t just go look in the fridge anymore); and where the heck is the umbrella?!
So, we may be a little rusty, but we’re going to finish out our virtual meetings on a high note with Dr. James Brown’s presentation “Stakeholder Management: What Dog Ownership Can Teach You” on June 7th and return to dinner meetings in person for the August Chapter Meeting.
For those of you who are a little circumspect about the whole thing, we will have things spread out a bit to prevent crowding and we’ll recommend masks be worn when away from the table. We hope that you will be able to join us (hoodies and jeans are just fine) and reconnect with your fellow project managers here in Tallahassee!
