Chapter Meeting: Managing a Large Integration Project
April Chapter Meeting: Managing a Large Integration Project
Our featured presenter is Greg Martin, a local expert at managing large integration projects, many of which are being run in the Tallahassee area. Through his presentation, we will learn the challenges and opportunities for success in managing a group of different solution providers. We will see examples of artifacts that are in use now and contributing to successful execution of the project at large. These artifacts include an integration plan, communication plan and multiple information radiators.
Greg is an Associate Vice President with North Highland, leading the Public Sector Systems Modernization group. He also was a Managing Director with Accenture, leading their Regulatory industry group within their Public Sector practice area. Greg has over 40 years working with Federal, state, and local agencies in business and technology management consulting. He has spent his career managing large, complex system integration projects across multiple disciplines including regulatory, tax, corrections, emergency management, grants management, education, environmental and others. His experience spans from strategic planning through the entire transformation life cycle of activities.
Greg has also authored several white papers and publications on efficiencies in government agency operations and creating a Command Center for emergency response to disasters. He has demonstrated the ability to lead the development and implementation of complex management reforms that transform organizations by implementing innovative technological solutions, focusing organizational structures and responsibilities on well-defined core services, and utilizing effective performance management systems.
