October 2025 Chapter Meeting - A Commitment to Service

At our October Chapter Meeting, we’ll review progress toward our 2025 goals and share key chapter metrics. Elections will start for board seats beginning January 1, 2026. The meeting’s theme—Commitment to Service—honors the dedication of our board, members, and partners. We’ll hear from community leaders and provide updates on our partnership with the Guardian Ad Litem Foundation, Circuit 2. We’ll also present the Shajil Kalathil Commitment to Service Award, recognizing outstanding contributions. The meeting will conclude with an inspiring keynote from Ryan Cohn of Sachs Media, whose message will energize our continued commitment to service and leadership.

Giving back isn’t just about donating time; it’s about creating real change. Ryan Cohn, partner and EVP at Sachs Media, will share how to approach volunteerism and board service with clarity and purpose. He’ll offer strategies for matching your skills with community needs, developing a personal plan, and setting realistic expectations to ensure meaningful results for both you and the organizations you serve.

Ryan Cohn is a partner and executive vice president at Sachs Media, a strategic communications and public affairs firm for high-stakes challenges. As a senior communications advisor and messaging strategist, he helps national brands and associations enhance their impact and shape public opinion. He also serves on the executive board of the Community Foundation of North Florida, where he recently launched Tallahassee’s Press Forward chapter, raising more than $1 million to support local journalism.
